The college wishes to appoint to the following teaching post from January 2025:

Teacher of A Level Chemistry – maternity cover up to 1 year

We are looking to appoint a dynamic and enthusiastic teacher of A Level Chemistry to cover a period of Maternity Leave.

The above appointment will be made on the Sixth Form Colleges Association Teachers’ pay scale, points 1 to 9, up to £47,133.
There may also be the potential for an appropriate candidate to be appointed to lead on Chemistry within the department for the duration of the cover, for which an additional responsibility allowance would be paid.

Candidates with a limited experience of teaching A Level Chemistry but with experience of teaching BTEC Applied Science should still apply. The post is also suitable for ECT applicants.

Candidates must be able to show a clear commitment to delivering quality teaching to inspire students of all abilities to reach their full potential.
