A group of 13 mainly Lower 6th students had a trip to the annual Japan Day at UCLan on 3rd February. They enjoyed a Japanese lesson from one of the lecturers there and a Taiko Drumming session as well as watching a Cosplay themed fashion runway, martial arts displays and a fabulous Japanese lunch.

We took 30 students on a two-day trip to Geneva to visit the world’s largest science experiment – the giant Large Hadron Collider particle accelerator and detector. Whilst there students toured two main facilities – the data processing centre and the small synchrotron particle accelerator.
This trip was a fantastic opportunity for students to gain extra ‘hands-on’ music production experience, the visit consisted of two workshops and a tour of the state-of-the-art facilities.
